Prince William is ‘afraid’ to find out what Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s next business venture will be after their lucrative Netflix and Spotify deal worth around £130m, a royal expert claims.
Duncan Larcombe, author of Prince Harry: The Inside Story, went on to explain how he believes the Duke, 36, and Duchess of Sussex, 39, are still cashing in on the royal brand whenever they talk about it.
‘What do they do next? That’s a question Prince William is afraid to answer,’ he said, speaking to OK! magazine.
‘Ultimately, they have to find a way to do their job in LA without trading the royal brand.’

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry stepped down as senior royals in March last year and later signed a lucrative podcast deal with Spotify worth up to £30 million.
The Sussex deal comes just months after the royals agreed a £100 million partnership with Netflix and days after Meghan invested in a $28-a-pack oat-milk ‘superlatte’ business that was then promoted for free by her LA neighbor Oprah Winfrey.
Duncan continued: ‘Prince Harry is not completely refined. He reveals to the world that he hates his family and the whole system is rotten to its core.
‘But by continuing to talk about royalty, they are cashing in on the brand. If they spend their entire career selling that royal brand, they will never speak to William again.’
The brothers were reunited at Kensington Palace last Thursday where together they unveiled a statue of their beloved late mother on what would be her 60th birthday after 18 tumultuous months for their own relationship.

Prince William was reportedly ‘shocked’ after Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey (pictured) aired and is now ‘uncomfortable’ talking to his brother, a source told the US weekly.
Larcombe went on to claim how the poignant event may have left him feeling devastated after he ‘sacrificed everything’ by deciding to continue his non-royal life with his wife.
“Harry and Meghan seem to think they can coexist in these two worlds – the world of British royalty and American celebrity,” he previously told Closer magazine.
‘Harry loves American life now – but he’s still in the honeymoon phase.
‘I think going back and seeing his brother, especially against the very moving backdrop of a memorial to their mother, might make him question what he gave it all for.’
The reunion came after Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive two-hour CBS interview with Oprah Winfrey that aired in March, in which the kingdom referred to its relationship with William amid reports the brothers fell out after Megxit.

Prince Harry told the talk show host: ‘As I’ve said before, I really like William. He’s my brother. ‘We’ve been through hell together. I mean, we had a shared experience. But we are on different paths.
During the interview, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said racism expelled them from England and claimed their son Archie was denied the title of prince because he was mixed race.
Meghan also claims that Kate Middleton made her cry during a fight over her bridesmaid dress and Prince Harry accused his father, Prince Charles, of refusing to take his calls when the couple moved to the US last year.
Duncan continued: ‘Harry’s relationship has really been sacrificed with his family for his new life with Meghan, and things seem to have been done his way and with his needs first.
‘But, in the end, Harry will want and need his family – they are his flesh and blood.’
She added: ‘I think Harry and Meghan will have to compromise to make things work well with the royals, and even to save their marriage – because there will come a point when she will be torn between Meghan’s world and her own family,’ she said.
‘They need to plan what they say and do in order to come forward and communicate with the royals, if they are to have any relationship with Harry’s family.’
