New Love Islander Teddy is in great demand by the girls in the villa.
Teddy Soares, a 26-year-old senior financial consultant, made his first appearance in Sunday’s episode of the reality series ITV2, and started his time on the show by going on speed dates with four girls.
After brief dates with Faye Winter, Sharon Gaffka, Rachel Finni, and Kaz Kamwi, the four women admit that they are attracted to Teddy and want to get to know him.
Choose from the bunch! Love Island’s new boy, Teddy, proves to be popular with the girls when he enters the show asking four girls on a romantic date
Kaz, 29, said: ‘I like Teddy, Faye likes Teddy, Sharon likes Teddy, and Rachel likes Teddy!’
The Manchester man kept his card close to his chest, but he had a second chat with some of the girls the morning after his arrival.
Speaking to Kaz, he said: ‘It will be interesting, the next few days.’
And while chatting with Faye she said: ‘Can I see your eyes? I haven’t stopped enjoying it since last night.’
Uh oh! After a brief date with Faye Winter, Sharon Gaffka, Rachel Finni, and Kaz Kamwi, the four women claim to be attracted to Teddy.
He also admitted to ‘feeling good’ after his date with Rachel, who insisted he was ready to ‘graft’ to win her heart.
During their date, Rachel told Teddy: ‘I’m very modern in my dating. I don’t think a guy has to always pay, I don’t expect a guy to pull my chair… I want a guy to be a gentleman, but I don’t want a guy to think I’m one of those girls who are totally dependent on them to make me happy.
‘I really believe in life I can give myself anything I want, including orgasms, if I’m going to go that far.’
Teddy replied: ‘You shouldn’t have to have an orgasm yourself, right? It must be a joint effort.’
Rachel later added: ‘Well, I was waiting for someone to come and do that for me. Hopefully it won’t be long before that happens. Too sexy now, the energy is too hot. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this way.’
New romance? Teddy admits to ‘feeling good’ after dating Rachel, who insists he is ready to ‘graft’ to win her over
Speaking the next day, Teddy told her: ‘You made me feel good after our date. How do you feel?’ He added: ‘I feel really good. I don’t want that date to end. It would be nice to have the opportunity to have uninterrupted time with you.’
Teddy will most likely make a big decision in Monday’s episode, as it has been confirmed there will be a reunion that will see the boys choose which girl they want to partner with.
The unselected girl will be banished from the villa, becoming the third person to be kicked out of the series after Shannon Singh and Chuggs Wallis.
During their date, Civil Servant Sharon, 25, cuts to the chase when Teddy asks: ‘Do you make a guy nervous?’
Playing the game: The Manchester man kept his cards close to his chest, but he had a second chat with several girls the morning after his arrival, including Lucinda
Sharon replied: ‘I don’t know, did I make you nervous?’ Teddy later told him: ‘No – I was more excited than nervous,’ prompting Sharon to admit: ‘I judged that.’
Next up, Faye arrives for Teddy’s fourth and final date, with the 26 year old Lettings Manager telling him: ‘You are a very attractive, very attractive man. Nice eyes, I feel like you’re staring into my soul a bit.’
And as the pair played footsie, Teddy admitted: ‘I can’t lie, I’ve never done a footsie with anyone, or anything this… it’s the first time, it’s pretty funny.’
‘I want to know all the girls. I’m not afraid to step up to get the girl I want,” he said in a pre-show chat.
Cheeky: Faye, a 26 year old rest agent, was Teddy’s fourth and final date and the couple enjoyed some footsie chatting with each other
Teddy continued: ‘I think I’m ready for love now. The law of attraction is probably what I believe in, so being in the villa is part of that thought process. I’m not getting any younger.
“I’ve always been the kind of guy who’s been in a long-term relationship. It hasn’t been broken in three years though. If I find someone in the villa, I will take it seriously.
‘I’m cuddly, caring and all my friends, when they have a problem they call me and confide in me. I’ve always been the one to lean on. I thought I’d add that element with boys.
‘From a women’s point of view, they should get used to me stirring a few pots and causing a bit of a fuss. I thought hopefully, my walk to the villa the girls would have something to see!’
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. The episode is available the next morning on BritBox.
