When coming to drink, this royal mother of three is said to enjoy a morning smoothie and a glass of strange wine – but there was one particular drink he couldn’t stand.

Back in 2018, the Duchess and her husband Prince William visit the Coventry Cathedral Rising Café, run by a charity that helps people overcome drug and alcohol addiction.
Based on People, the royal couple were offered cake and tea from a tray, which also had almond milk on it just for Kate.
“We put almond milk on the table because we had read that he had it,” said Kim Gardener, who runs the British Betel women’s houses.
To the surprise of the cafe workers, Kate replied: “Don’t believe everything you read – I don’t even like almond milk.”

Almond milk has gained popularity over the last few years with those looking for an alternative to cow’s milk. However, it seems the Duchess is not a fan of trendy drinks.
Kate’s sister-in-law, Duchess Meghan, however, is believed to have almond milk with her breakfast.
Authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand of royal biography Finding Freedom writes: “Her morning ritual begins with a cup of hot water and a slice of lemon, followed by her favorite oat breakfast (usually made with almond or soy milk) with banana and agave syrup for sweetness.”

During Kate and William’s time at the cafe, they also commented on the cake, with Williams revealing how his daughter Princess Charlotte would love the princess tiara cake.
Kate enjoys baking herself, especially baking birthday cakes for her children.
Talking at Mary Berry’s Berry Royal Christmas in December 2019, the king said: “I love baking. It’s a tradition that I stay up until midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake and icing mix and I make too much. But I like it.”
